Microalgae, one of the oldest life forms yet around, are incredible and extremely diverse aquatic organisms. Although it has been under researchers' scrutiny for decades, only recently are we just beginning to immerse ourselves in the vast potential of this gift by nature.

However, one of the things that stand out from the findings is the Microalgae’s ability to tackle and overcome some of the world's most pressing issues such as food and water security, ever-increasing waste streams and environmental deterioration.

Aligma is a biotechnology company that is looking to play a predominant role in overcoming these challenges by supplying sustainable, high-quality Microalgae for the bio-fertiliser, animal feed, F&B products, health supplements. And, in due course, it will become a supplier of raw materials as an alternative for the crude oil fuelled petrochemical industry, which the world desperately needs.
